The live band lineup has consisted of many accomplished musicians, including . Tony Remy, guitarist, has toured with Lonnie Liston Smith and Craig David, whilst Neil Angilley (Keys) has also worked with Snowboy. Julian Crampton (Bass) was with Incognito and Adrian Revell (Sax) has toured with Jamiroquai. Paul ‘Shilts’ Weimar, who was in the horn section for The Brand New Heavies , Davide Giovannini -drums , Tim Smart -trombone , Jim Knight -sax…Jamie Harris – sax , Graeme Flowers – Trumpet , Phil Nelson –Drums , Simon Bramley- bass , Tommy Emmerton – Guitar and Neil Burditt - keys
In the U.S, for gigs, the band changes slightly, encompassing such musical talent asRufus Philpot (bass/live band leader) , Katisse Buckingham (sax), Dave Wood (guitar) and Iahj Hamden (drums) ,Quinn Johnson /Lao Tizer(Keys) and Chris Bautista/Gabriel Johnson(trumpet)

Oh great! Haven't heard this for ages. Going on ten years ago, I bought a CD of Urban Grooves at a stall in Portobello Market. Was my going-to-work Tube listening for weeks. Funky. Groovy.
