After their most successful headline tour to date, changing personal priorities lead to Douglas splitting up. Jamie from the band recently joined Boom In The Diamond Industry. They recently reformed for a one-off performance supporting ThisGirl at their last ever gig in Cardiff in January 2007.

3. Douglas is a Pittsburgh, PA rock n’ roll band currently revamping their style and sound. The band’s line-up seems to be forever in flux, but current members include Jeff Bets, the brains behind the band as well as the lyricist, guitarist, and back-up vocals, Melissa Beall, lead vocals, and Chris Fazio, lead guitar, bass.

They have released one album, Yankee Bluegrass. “YANKEE BLUEGRASS showcases a sort of innocent gameness to try anything — swingin’ horns, three-chord rock, acoustic ballads, surfy guitar solos, even a little twang — that’s oddly affecting” “A free-and-easy romp through alt country and playful pop, punctuated by Jeff Bets’ old-timey harmonica… The music’s summery vibe should sound perfect right about this time of year”.
