The Argentinian band Doris is a rock band from Buenos Aires. They have released three albums: Doris (2002), Doyle, La Opereta del Gaucho Drogado (2003) and Achacandá (2006). Their live shows are always full of scenography, they play in costumes and almost in every track all the five members switch instruments. Reviews have been excelent for this band, named as one of the most interesting and original band in the Argentinian indie scene. They opened for Stephen Malkmus in 2004.

Originally formed in Dublin in 2005, the band have seen many changes in their lineup. Founding members Phil Redmond and bassist Chris McDonnell have used these changes to the band’s advantage. Drafting in two new members, childhood friends and former metal enthusiasts, Paul Higgins (lead guitar, keyboards, harmonica, vocals) and Andrew Beatty (drums) the band have transformed from a simple folk-like outfit to a fully fledged Pop/Rock Band.
