When writing this song, I can’t help but wonder if Dope Stars weren’t listening to 80s pop music… The chorus structure reminds me of Cyndi Lauper’s “She Bop” while the vocal reverb harks back to His Royal Bleachness, Billy Idol’s Forgot To Be A Lover.
