I enjoy the music. It's not the best thing I've heard but neither is most of the music that comes out now a days. It's got an interesting sound and is very different from Turbonegro which is a nice contrast. It's a good distraction from most of the other Industrial stuff I listen to.

M3 spoke to Doctor Midnight & the Mercy Cult guitarist Anders Odden to hear all about life on the road as a hired gun, being turned on to metal by Mayhem’s Euronymous, and why copyright based royalties may be the main thing keeping some of your favourite bands afloat -

...which makes Doc Midnight so much less generic and boring, yup. Great argument, got another one?

I appreciate the effort the band put into recording one of the most generic rock albums in recent history. Quite an achievement.

The sound is quite cool, but the voice??!! Hank sings like he's trying to sound like manson. this is so disappointing.

Pretty good debut album. Disappointing of course, but some songs are really good, for example "OK (We're Just About To Die)". Anyway, Hank still has a great voice.

If given the chance to sing in either this band or Turbonegro, who in their right mind would choose this??

Sounds pretty cool to me. I think the vox will grow on me after a few listens.

Listening to a few tracks....kind of not into it too much, but i'll give it more of a chance once the full album is released. I love turbonegro so much.
