About This Track
This is a collaboration between Dizzee Rascal and the American record producer Armand Van Helden. Rascal told MTV: “Armand approached me and sent me an email saying he wanted to work together. As soon as I heard the name I was on to it.” (Source Bonkers Songfacts.)
In Polish internet society this track is called ‘pierdolnięcie’, which means a big, powerful hit. It’s taken its popularity and name from a comedy remake of movie about Adolf Hitler, where he’s looking for a good party with electro music. Finally, he finds himself on a party where “Bonkers” is being played (it’s wrongly taken as electro) and the beat of the music destroys a wall killing a lot of people. The party is called “The Last Boogie”.
