Biography

The boys in Diversion Tactics are former ITF Champ DJ Jazz T who deejays and produces beats with Zygote at Boot Studios for The Chubby Alcoholic and Squeaky to drop science on.

They released their first album ‘Pubs, Drunks and Hip Hop’ in 2002. After a succession of singles, alter-ego projects, solo albums, guest verses and collaborations, their second album ‘Careful On The Way Up’ was released in 2010 on the Boot record label…

You can find videos on Google and YouTube, MTV and Channel U to ‘Ladies Man’, ‘Shaolin Iron Claw remix’, ‘Robot Boy’ and ‘Deadlock’.

The new album features production from, obviously, Boot but also The Last Skeptik, Beyond There and J-Zone. Guest verses will be heard from HD Gritty, English, Freestyle, Tim Dog, Percee P and amongst others…Blade comes out of retirement!!!

The Boot remix of Percekusion is out June 2008 on 7”.

After the critical success of Zygote’s ‘Beats To Make You Frown’ Jazz T is due to release the solo album ‘All City Kings’ August 2008 featuring Tim Dog, Kashmere, Yeshua da Poed and Louie G amongst others.

‘No Collaborations’ on HHC July 2008 cover CD by Diversion Tactics gives a taster of the new album.
