The mountains below we reached by our will
The flame of our swords are burning still
Tempted by the night to spread hate and fear
We're the revenge the blackest, Their souls is our prey

Every song this band produces is pure magic. This song is phenomenal.

I've just realized that at 5:05 in this song's duration, while that riff sort of expands a bit, is very, very reminiscent of Dark Tranquillity's "Icipher" main riff...I don't know if DT purposefully imitated this, (as they similarly must have done, blatantly, with "Format C for Cortex" with Iron Maiden's "Fear of the Dark" song..) albeit both polished, less raw in feeling...But this song, "A Land Forlorn" is far superior to any of those...Not trying to sound ridiculous, but, really...just the progression and mastery of harmonies and melody of this band's music...LOVE it!
