Hahahaha... people who tagged this as d-beat and crust probably like Fall of Efrafa, and think every band with "Dis" at the beggining of their name is d-beat.

    April 2010
  • RedArmada

For sure, for sure, Disorder was a huge influence on crust, I don't think anybody is disputing that. Crust is definitely fashionable, but luckily, nu-school kids are only into "atmospheric" slow boredom crust

    March 2010
  • NeroAsTheLife

angry, chaotic and noizy sound..all of it for me made them an HUGE influence for crust! i think they could be called as "proto-crust",as well of bands as Chaos Uk,but also Kaaos or Tampere SS in finland, early Anti-Cimex and Avskum and many others in Sweden,Wretched in italy..and lots of others all around the world! BTW it's really sad all this taggin as "crust",that probably comes from kids who does not know a fuck about crust and punk in general! they're just in it cuz crust is the "cool thing" of the moment..they just found out some Casualties pics on myspace, tought something like"hey! let's became a punk! i'll finally find some girls who want to fuck me with those hairs!"..then started and talk like "i'm a kid of the street,i hate hippies,i love drinkin.."..then a few weeks after they buy milions of of patches of bands that someone told'em are "cool" and then attack a few fake dreadlocks behind their head and pretend to be vegetarian ecc..well,fuck it!! stay out of punk, fashion shit!

    March 2010
  • NeroAsTheLife

Well,in my opinion,i don't think Disorder are/were Crust..they were just pure chaotic noizy PUNK as fuck..but shure they were one of the most influential bands for what began to be crust! think about it:after the super early years they got into anarchopunk(that ideollogically is the basement of crust),but with a more abrasive, desperate, disilluded approach(exactly how i think crust is)..plus,their lifestyle:for example they used to be squatters..well crust has its roots into the squatter movement! they even used to squat with members of Amebix(and neither Amebix for me were actually crust, but just a band unique in itself, that was and still is the most big influence for crust!,in some way,it's basement! for someone the first!)..then their ideas against war, against heroin, against racism, against the brainwashing done by "the system"...their love for bein stinky and drunk as fuck(i've met Taff, the bass player/voice a few times and trust me..he's still the same at all!)..plus their really

  • cider_drinker

disorder has in reality fuck all to do with crust. disorder's legacy is really to do with influencing alot of japanese noise punk bands like the swankys, dust noise and etc.

    March 2010
  • RedArmada

Yeah, well, try telling that to nu-school hardcore kid, people call Discharge crust these days, it's ridiculous.

    March 2010
  • LutiaLunacy

Well, heh, Kids now think The Exploited is crust.
