Dismensionel started in 2003 with the arrival of French hip hop and beatbox duo Coco (Corentin Sauvetre), Astrovoï (Emmanuel Barbarit) and their www.parashuts.com in Barcelona, Spain. Soon their computer-generated bases were embellished with the melodic guitars and vocals of Andy Poole and Manu Huerta. Their first LP ´Nuve´ (2004) was recorded at their Parashuts studio featuring guest vocalists Philsen (Germany) on `Beating Again´ and Tumi Langa (South Africa) on ´The Big Song´.
Live gigs during 2005 featured visuals created by Nikita Routchenko and artist Bruno Ollé, and bassist Debbie Mitchell brought added depth and warmth. A DVD of the visuals and music of Dismensionel ´preocupaciones´ was showcased in Barcelona and the year culminated in victory and welcome investment into Parashuts to produce the next LP ´Away without Leaving´ in 2006. The heavy dependence on electronic bases was lifted with a more typical guitar/drums/bass set-up which was then re-elaborated in 2007 with Andres Andrade on electronic drum kit achieving the live electronica sound that machines alone can never give.
Andres went on to pursue his own audiovisual design-fusion projects and Dismensionel is currently lingering in the subconscious of it´s alterego band Freud Quiere Bailar.
