Disfiguring the Goddess is a one-piece project that began in Minden, Nevada in 2006 by Cameron Argon, aka Big Chocolate. DTG released two EPs, Disfiguring The Goddess and Defaced From Humanity in 2008 and 2009 respectively before releasing a debut full-length album, Circle Of Nine, in 2011. He released the Sleeper EP, on April 24, 2012.

He released two albums concurrently in late 2013, Deprive and Black Earth Child.

    well yeah it's not supposed to be as atmospheric. it's supposed to be DtG in a more typical slam fashion. the songs are just better written

    Deprive is slightly better IMO. Black Earth Child is heavier and there's some cracking tracks, but it's not quite as interesting or diverse as Deprive for me. Less atmosphere.
