In fact, this song is a reason to regret that you cannot ❤ a song more than once. In this instance, I think about about 17 ❤s are called for.

A bloody perfect hook, warped samples, piano & harp loops, rhythm could as well be a Polaroid camera and two huge climaxes. First it makes all U2 material obsolete. Then rampant strumming until it fades in that chugging loop. Template for multiorgasms?

When all you've seen is people's pain, It's hard to feign surprise. And we just smile. Such a beautiful song.

This reminds me of seeing people do drugs that would lead to their tragical demise. The year was 1996; the mood was good.
