Dirty Pretty Things were formed in late 2005 by Carl Barât following the dissolution of his previous band, The Libertines.

The band’s current line-up consists of Carl Barât (vocals/guitar), Anthony Rossomando (guitar/vocals), ex-Cooper Temple Clause member Didz Hammond (bass/vocals) and Gary Powell (drums).

The band’s eagerly anticipated debut single, “Bang Bang You’re Dead”, was released on 24 April 2006, and preceded the release of the album “Waterloo To Anywhere”, released on 8 May 2006. The second single, “Deadwood”, was released on July 31st.
