Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dirt Nasty started rappin’ on karaoke machines at the age of 14. He grew up listening to Too Short, Geto Boys, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Terence Trent D’Arby, and Sade. Never having a father figure to look up to, he learned about the game, the streets, and the ladies from his record collection. Now Hollywood is his home, where he found and started the 3 man group “Dyslexic Speedreaders” (which included Mickey Avalon and Andre Legacy). Dirt Nasty produced their cult hit “My Dick” and has produced tracks for well-known artists such as The Living Legends, Mickey Avalon, Lil’ B, Andy Milonakis, and Andre Legacy (just to name a few). Yup…he’s a producer too. To date, Dirt Nasty has released 2 albums through Shoot To Kill Music. 2007’s self-titled album that includes favorites such as “1980”, “Droppin’ Names” & “Cracker Ass Fantastic” and most recently, 2011’s “Nasty As I Wanna Be” which boasts collaborations with the likes of LMFAO, Ke$ha, Alchemist and more. If u like to piss your pants, you’ll love some Dirt Nasty.

I would also take screwed gangster beats over old hip-hop beats almost any day.

It's not "remakes", in rap, people use other people's beats. Extremely common practice. I just like the lyrical style of TWA. It has more substance, even for a humorous album, in my opinion. I honestly can't stand the new wave of hip-hop, r&b, and rap artists going electro. Maybe I'll get into it more eventually, but at this point, it just kinda sickens me. I think it also has to do with the fact that all the old rap stations in my city now p much ONLY play electro rap shit, and it's still the same network, but electro rap has just taken over...

The white album was just remakes of old hip hop songs though... perhaps you are just more interested in old hip hop... because it isn't just Dirt Nasty that is going the electro path in hip hop these days.. oh and, "Nasty As I Want To Be" is freaking AWESOME. :-)

I wish he was still making tapes like The White Album. Shit was legitimately good. Now he's perma on that bullshit electro-club-dance bullshit. Fuck Chain Swangaz, fuck Nasty As I Want To Be.
