Direct Hit is a pop punk band made up of members living in Milwaukee, Wis. and Chicago, Ill. that worship Andrew WK, The Ramones, and The Thermals in equal measure. Starting in 2008, they released a series of EPs for free online at directhit.bandcamp.com, called DH#1, DH#2, DH#3, DH#4, and DH#5, from which a full-length album called DOMESPLITTER was compiled in 2011. In addition, Direct Hit has contributed songs to split 7” records with Mixtapes ( November 2010), Tit Patrol ( March 2011), and Jetty Boys (November 2011), and a split 12” with Hold Tight! (March 2012).
