Diorama was formed in 1996 by Torben Wendt. The initial demo tape was sufficient to attract the interest of Adrian Hates (Diary of Dreams), who produced the debut album and released it on his label Accession in 1999, initiating several years of close co-operation between the two bands, Torben touring with Diary of Dreams on their “One of 18 Angels Tour” as both support act and second vocalist. Felix Marc joined the line-up in time for the recording of the second Diorama album “Her Liquid Arms”, which yielded the club hit “Advance”.
Diorama took a short break after this, but returned in September 2002 with “The Art Of Creating Confusing Spirits”. Another tour with Diary of Dreams would follow, but then a further period of silence would follow, broken only by the occasional live apperance. The band eventually returned to support VNV Nation on the first phase of their Formation Tour, promoting their own fourth album “Amaroid” in the process.
Their new album “A different life” was released on March 23, 2007.

I absolutely agree that Diorama should upload some of their music here. In fact, I am going to write to their record company and ask for at least a few songs. Lastfm is great when you want to get your music out to people but don't want to loose on sales.

@weiiis: that's because here are NO songs uploaded from Diorama. there are bands where you can listen to songs in FULL LENGTH on last.fm, so there are more chances for users who don't know a band, to listen to it. then there can be much users who dislike the songs after first listen and it could be the first and last scrobble, but these users will be counting as new listeners and will be added to the statistics. Users on last.fm who listen to Diorama own their albums, and are often real fans. But for me it would be better if Diorama could upload some music on here, they deserve to be much more popular...
