For a 17/18 year old kid, to come up with such great riffs, is just fabulous!

Not a fan of this album. The middle section just drags on with too many slow paced tracks for me. Fave track: Walk on Water.

    Probably my fav Dio album.

Took a while to get into for me because of its lack of Dio-keys, and it's not as raw as Holy Diver for being a straight-forward heavy metal album. However, after getting into this (and "Strange Highways") more and more, I can easily say that Dio made two great albums after "Dream Evil". "Born On The Sun" is my favorite on this one.

Lots of great tracks on this one. "Born On The Sun", "Lock Up The Wolves" and "My Eyes" are some of his finest ever.
