Perfect example that true experiments will never be accepted by audience.

Worst album? Fuck off, this album is awesome! Dio never had a bad moment. In a Interview, released 1998 he said that Angry Machines is a album, which should inspire young Musicans to form a Band and make the music they like, so they had to do this new sound. And well, that's the story about Angry Machines..

This Is Your Life is probbably the most forgotten gem in whole Dio discography. [2]

This is Dio's worst album, But I hate using the word "worst" because it implies this is a bad album. It's not. It's amazing. All his other albums are just more amazing.

Institutinal Man & Golden Rules are very good, Big Sister is OK. The rest is from very weak to weak.

This album is so underrated. People (Ronnie included) shit all over it but it has some solid tracks.

This is the least great DIO album, but still it has great songs in it. Institutional man, Don't Tell The Kids, Hunter Of The Heart, Golden Rules and This Is Your Life are my favourites. Unfortunately rest of the album ain't that good.

This Is Your Life is indeed a great song, but Strange Highways isn't the worst Dio album, not in a million years

This is Your Life makes this one FAR from his worst (which was Strange Highways... I mean, it had Hollywood Black, which was okay at best, but come on). Honestly, TiYL is one of Dio's best songs; it's a shame that it's not posted.

here's a controversial idea: RJD bravely chose to experiment with a new sound, which was largely successful, but was too great a leap forward for most fans to accept. consequently, he chickened out of experimentation and went for self-parody instead. despite some low points, this album is FAR richer and more authentic than any of the albums that came after. Hopefully the new H&H release will be a welcome change.

its his 2nd worst album ( sorry but first wud be master of the moon) but tht doesnt mean its necassarily bad. there are a few songs on there tht i like. besides his other albums are so good tht even a good one like this can be his worst. At least he tried to become more mordern with his sound and no get stuck in the past like other bands do.
