In October 2005, singer Helena Noguerra flew to Tucson with Federico Pellegrini, founding member of The Little Rabbits and currently known as French Cowboy, to record Bang!, an album imbued with American tones. Together, they tell the story of Dillinger Girl and Baby Face Nelson.

We’re in front of the bank and i’m scared to death. I’m both very afraid and ready to go the whole way. I light a cigarette. Bank robbing knows no business hours except the bank’s. Since the very first day, we act without hiding our faces. She wants us to be recognised and amired; she wishes we were Bonnie and Clyde though i’ve never been able to tell which one is Bonnie and which one is Clyde. She’ll say “Everybody lie face down, this is a robbery!” with her empty cigarette-holder in her mouth. She’ll order the youngest clerk “Be a sweetie, Darling, go and fetch the Director” and of course, he’ll go. The “Darling” part commands respect. She’s tall, always overhangs them. With my revolver in hand as an extension of my arm or as an extra ring, I won’t say a word. I’ll have my sunglasses on. I was told I had weary eyes, which is true. I’ve had a hard time sleeping, lately. I’ll use that circular glance of mine, the one that can spot anything. The Director will arrive, sweating as all of them always do; not when they lend you money though, only when they hand it to you.
