Biography
With three years in the making, Dikembe is the sound of flight, a thrilling atmospheric indie-band. Their Album title is, “Broad Shoulders”, the band has been working on this album at Party Den of Sin Satan Lives 666 and with experienced engineers. Dikembe is known for it’s anthemic melodies, inspirational sound, and dramatic intros. Live shows are very energetic as the band builds to a height with waves of intricate layered loops and instruments. The piano parts by Ryan are very soothing and heroic. Steven’s guitar influences are mainly from atmospheric bands like “Explosions in the Sky” and “Angels and Airwaves”. Kenny’s bass lines are marked by skill and shaped to exemplify a strong European sound. David’s drumming style is marked by experience with over 25 years of playing rock music.

v agreed, though the rest of the album rocks too. It was one of my favorites last year, you just need to give it a bunch of time and listens. "I Just Don't Understand What All These Kids Dig About Him" and "Sorry I Can't Stick Around" are another pair of highlights in my opinion.

In all honestly, I was anticipating it to be AOTY but I feel like there was a real loss of emotion on Steven's part. Melody-wise, they went the way of Dad's, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but not really what made me fall in love with them. I guess I'll spin the record a few more times but really bummed at what I thought their first full length would have been.

I have evidence that Dikembe actually did have 857k plays, and that the Topshelf Illuminati paid off last.fm to lower the play count and sabotage Dikembe's career in an attempt to cripple their competition, Tiny Engines.

We got the reference lacquer for the LP two days ago and they have been approved. Test presses in a few weeks, then a preorder. Then the record ships. Then we put out 3 (COUNT EM 3) other releases after that. This year is gonna be 2 bizy. Also lol @ that description.
