Fof (also known for his eff dst IDM project) founded the band in 2005 in Minsk. He was later joined by Xev and Taelih. Previously Xev was the vocalist of the Belorussian metal band Vicious Crusade.

At the end of 2007, local label Machinist Records released their debut album Wired Tunes as a very limited edition. After a few weeks, Diffuzion signed with Belgium’s Alfa Matrix label whose A&R Manager had discovered the band while he was visiting the Side-Line magazine office.

In 22 April 2008, Diffuzion re-released their debut album with a new title, Bodycode, and additional tracks. It was issued in two versions: standard edition and a double-CD carton box edition including a bonus disc with exclusive songs and remixes.

In January 2011, the band premiered a new song, “Dbd (While You Can)”.
