  • J. S. Bach walked about 300 kilometers to visit this great organ master.. BRILLIANT.. also.. Both "Dietrich" and "DietErich" are correct but the second one is old fashioned.

  • I think the solo organ compositions by Buxtehude and Sweelinck, played on some giant church organ are amazing.
  • This doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic so I doubt this'll get answered, but can anyone tell me who the best performers of this stuff are? Like who's interpretation should I go for? I don't want my first real listen to this to be tainted by shoddy performance the way Satie was for years.
