Die Fantastischen Vier (also known as Fanta4) is a German hip hop group from Stuttgart.

Towards the end of the 1980s, Andreas Rieke, Michael B. Schmidt, Thomas Dürr and Michael Beck formed the group The Terminal Team. In 1989 they changed the band name to Die Fantastischen Vier (“The Fantastic Four”). From then on they produced German hip hop, being one of the very first groups to do so. Their 1992 track Die da (Her There) was arguably the first German hip hop hit and also the breakthrough for the Fanta4. In the following albums the band matured and produced one hit after the other up to their current success, Unplugged (2001), the CD version of their mtv unplugged performance.

Aggro und Bushido und Co geh ich auch gepflegt ausm Weg, dafür gibts einfach viel besseren Deutschrap auch wenn der sich im Untergrund tummelt. Aber was ist eigentlich mit Smudos Stimme passiert, war er zu den Albenaufnahmen heiser oder gibt seine Stimme langsam den Geist auf?

"Fungerappe"? Ich find's teils ziemlich deep, vor allem aber auch große Reimkunst, auch wenn Viel wohl gehaltvoller war. Aber schlecht ist die Platte keineswegs. Immer noch besser als der größte Teil von diesem aggro-armen Scheiß, der so en vogue ist.

4:99 ist das letzte herausragende Album von den Fanta 4, der Rest ist gerade mal zum Arsch abwischen gut, dieses Fungerappe kann ja ganz lustig sein, aber wenn man auf Fornika nur zwei gute Lieder findet, dann weiss man dass die Band nichts mehr taugt.

Instantly I felt in love with them. MFG, Sie ist weg, Der Picknicker, Tag am Meer, Populär grabbed my attention like nothing in years had done. I was addicted. Soon after I had already obssesed about Thomas D, but also about each of them, they are so talented alone and as a group, one of the best arrangements in music, fusion of Hip Hop, Jazz, witty lyrics... because once I finally learned German, I began to get their lyrics and FUUUUCCCKKKK!!!! I have been in love ever since!!!.... :)
