Alongside such bands like Blumfeld and Tocotronic, Die Sterne are one of the most important representatives of the so-called “Hamburger Schule” (Hamburg school). Rock, Soul and Funk are some of the major influences on the music of Die Sterne.

sehr sehr toll der gig in hannover. kannte die band vorher gar nicht, aber das konzert hat mich umgehauen. ich bin froh dass es auch solch guten deutsche texte gibt, denn meiner meinung nach ist es viel anspruchsvoller auf deutsch als auf englisch zu schreiben, denn triviale songtexte auf deutsch hören sich scheußlicher an als englische. gut für uns :D
