Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Diamond Dancer is composed of long-time friends who have traded in their dysfunctional hardcore punk rock past for twinkly guitar hooks and heartfelt vocals.
Balancing angst-ridden kinetics with wistful underpinnings and intelligent lyrics, Diamond Dancer has created a formidable sound, heavily influenced by ’90s indie rock and displaying an iterated soft/loud structure, overlaid with melodic, ethereal guitar-based instrumental bridges, which are interwoven with illusory synths and pianos, accompanied by a shy narrator singing seriously about mundane problems.
With the release of their acclaimed debut EP, Will You?, the band has stunned live audiences, hooking them in with dream-like walls of sound that put the live listener in a trance-like state. With a full-length release and tour plans in the works for 2012, this is the band that will put the term “highly anticipated” back where it belongs: in the hands of honest people making honest music.

Well, I don't hold anything against you guys for posting links everywhere, but I do get a little disappointed?/annoyed? when I look at the comments section of a given emo band and like 50% of the time see your "spam" there. I personally wouldn't like a fan base that was based on spam, but if you guys aren't like that, that's cool too. With all that said, you guys make good music.

Sweet, I've lived in Vancouver for over a year now and didn't know this sort of stuff existed here, thought it was all dubstep and yoga music. Funny because I only found out about this through some spam on the Owls page, then I pretty much see my house in the music video! Will keep my eye out for shows...
