Biography

Detektivbyrån was Anders Flanderz Ensamsorkester and Martin Molin, who formed in Karlstad, Sweden, and were located in Gothenburg. They made instrumental folky electronic music using vibes, accordions, trumpets, drums and guitars. Their first Demo EP was released in 2005 and their debut release Hemvägen EP was released on the Swedish label Danarkia. After that they released two singles, Lyckans Undulat and Split 7”, and two full length albums, E18 Album and Wermland, which was released on the 3rd of September 2008. On August 10th 2010 the band announced on their official web page that the band has come to an end, and that they will not release more music or tour together under the name Detektivbyrån.
Nowdays, Anders Flanderz Ensamsorkester plays like a one man band. And Martin Molin, have a new band: Wintergatan
