Destroying The Machine consists of five friends reigning from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, an area right outside the city of Philadelphia. Formed in 2005, being described only as a driven metal force with equal parts technicality, melody, and originality. They feel what they have crafted is something extremely unique and utterly mindbending to the ear. Expressing true talent in every aspect of their instruments, they are not a band to be taken for granted. In 2006, Destroying the Machine found themselves recording their first demo at Domesound studios.
Following releasing and promoting their new demo themselves, they went out on a week tour followed by numerous shows soon after.
Now we arrive at present day, 2007. After a few rough experiences and member changes, Destroying The Machine has finally reached a completely comfortable and satisfying line up. With this, they took it upon themselves to venture into some very reknown and local studios such as: Trax East Studios, 1021 Studios and The Skylight Studios to bring forth their first professionally produced five track EP entitled “Existence Lies Beneath”. Theres no telling what this band is capable of achieving at this rate and is by no means necessary, a band one should pass up.
