Sort of more "Burial collab with Olafur Arnalds".. if i were going to do down the ponsie path of reductionism. or could just enjoy the tunes

I start to wonder if there's a possibility of producing this kind of music and not be discredited because of resemblance to Burial. The legacy of Burial is so big, I guess it will take some time for some artists to come out of his shadow. But I like Desolate alot, I wouldn't call it Burial for dummies. Each to his own. He has got definitely clearer, more vivid sound, there are things that are his own and unique I would say. Celestial Light Beings is one hell of a beautiful album.

It's an alright take on the Burial sound, though it really doesn't hit as hard.

Whereas The Invisible Insurrection created a melancholic and rainy mood, Celestial Light Beings manages to produce a feeling of sun rays piercing through the rain clouds. For me, this really makes the second album not only a worthy but also a logical successor to the debut.

It is so irritating the amount of comparison and critisism regarding likeness to Burial... Some people need to listen to more records... They are completely different records this brought me back to, but this is so singular in itself... Let his music stand alone, because it can.

Don't start comparing what shouldn't be compared.

I really really like his latest. Sure I can hear Burial in the drum patterns, but the mood you end up with is totally delicious.

This is just beautiful. Don't understand why people always need comparison with other bands.

It's good that we came to the positive conclusion. There are some Massive Attack influences here as well, listen to Teariness Of Lemnia, it resembles Massive Attack's Teardrop, or is it just me?
