Biography

Desa (pronounced dess-uh) is a rock band from Oakland, California. The band is currently signed to MDB Records and has just released its second album. The band recently completed a two-month US tour with labelmates Rx Bandits to help promote the new album. On September 9th, 2008, they put their latest EP, Revenge Body, up for free download on their website in conjunction with The Sound of Animals Fighting new release, The Ocean and the Sun.

    Good band. Their new EPs are sick, especially the second one, Routes to Rapture. They're all up on their web site for free if anyone here didn't already know that. Their guitarist also has a podcast called Break This City which is hilarious. They mostly talk about the bay area scene and make fun of Oakland and its crime. Good shit.
