Jonathan Saul Kane:
He is well known for his pioneering use of samples, particularly from cult films in the martial arts, spaghetti western, and pornographic genres. Jonathan Saul Kane is often credited for inventing “trip-hop” and “big beat”; he used kung-fu film samples before Wu-Tang Clan… His other aliases are Octagon Man, Alexanders Dark Band, T.E.T and Grimm Death.

There is a thrash metal band that is named Depth Charge too. Not very known but it exists.

    @Metallimaster- 'Depth charge are a bunch of fucking losers' -actually, it's one guy, so you should say 'A loser', as in 'metallimaster is A trolling idiot'. On a lighter note, thanks to the album 'Chemical Reaction' for getting me hooked on Shaolin Buddha Finger and thus introducing me to Depth Charge.

    Didn't write the biography, but Bounty Killers really has a true big beat sound, while it was released in 1989 and big beat as most know it only came forward in the nineties.
