Behind the Wheel is Depeche Mode’s 20th UK single, released December 1987, and the third single for the album Music for the Masses. It peaked at #21 on the UK charts.
Produced by Depeche Mode and David Bascombe.
B-side is Route 66, which was played on the Violator tour.

Can't imagine loving a song anymore than this one! Has been one of my Top Faves for almost 30 years. Love Dave/Martin singing together. Such sexy lyrics and fun video too. The Behind The Wheel/Route 66 is a great dance song. I'll be listening to these guys when I'm 80!!
