I've listened to a lot of Depeche Mode for a long time,(early 1980's) this album is just wonderful, like a breathe of fresh air, I do love a lot of the other albums too just a bit tired of all the darkness of some of the songs associated with DM

I attended the Exciter tour @ Globen, Stockholm, and these songs are sooo much better live than on CD. It's a feelgood album, maybe because Dave had a major change in lifestyle?
