Denver and the Mile High Orchestra consider themselves to be a “horn driven pop band.” Their influences include Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Blood Sweat and Tears, Billy Joel and Huey Lewis. They take classic pop music and try to give it a more modern edge.

The were formed in 1999 in Nashville. They currently consist of vocalist Denver Bierman, a seven-piece horn section and four-piece rhythm section. They were a top 3 finalist on the Fox TV show “The Next Great American Band.”
