Biography

Del Beazley is a musician possibly of 100% Hawaiian heritage. While his mother's roots are from Hana, a remote town on the island of Maui, Del grew up in Makaha on the Waianae coast of Oahu. He has a rich voice and performs a range of songs from Hawaiian to Hawaii-themed in English to devotional. He has won at least six Na Hoku Hanohano awards, which is the Hawaii equivalent of a Grammy. His signature song is "Brown Man Blues," but his repertoire includes an immense diversity of songs in a variety of styles. In performance, he matches his musical talent with humorous sharing of his knowledge.
