About This Track

Music: A moody trip-hop song featuring low beat and acoustic guitar chords with light vocals, this was Deftones first attempt to create a dream pop song, manner that will be explored further on singer Chino Moreno’s side project: the band Team Sleep, as well on Deftones future releases.

Meaning: It deals with a youthful romance coming to an end. Chino has stated that he wrote these lyrics when he was 15 after a first date.
