Defragmentation is a collaborative effort of 2 underground New York artists. Writing music for 400 years, Jeff and Paper have developed a unique and creative style of jungle, industrial and hard noise that constantly is changing and evolving.

Stumbled upon these guys in my search for an industrial hardcore group with no lyrics. My expectations have been greatly exceeded. Just bought Self Construct. Not really feeling Lament Element as much, but I may buy it just for Pale Shotguns and The Stones. I NEVER buy my music. I had to. This stuff is good.

I've been trying to spread the word and some people have liked it while others just don't get it, but it's their loss :)

I believe that they're on Ant Zen/Hymen now, so hopefully they'll get the recognition they deserve.

Agreed, very underrated. Perhaps if they released on a label like Cock Rock Disco, instead of Invisible, they'd get more recognition.

Defrag does some fucking amazing remixes (see Pigface - Bitch (Defrag's Extraordinary Skipping Glitch Mix)). Too bad their original songs aren't as good. :(
