There are 4 bands named Deer on

The first one is an electronic music project based in Germany that has released tracks on Combination Records, Hydrogen Dukebox, Neo Ouija and a variety of netlabels. As Deer, Martin Hirsch produces freestyle, Detroit-influenced House and Techno which draws on found sounds, organic synths and engaging emotional tensions. His focus is on groove and finely detailed fragments, trying to create an acoustic space that equally suits headphones and the dance floor. In the past Martin has released more experimental material as Random Noise Productions and will probably revisit that project in the future. More free tracks and up-to-date info available at

The second DEER is an noiserock band hailing from Ghent, Belgium. They sound dark and threatening in a very personal way. A mix of low-tuned guitar riffs, dissonance, desperate screams, feedback and noise. Think Part Chimp, Black Cobra & Lightning Bolt. Check to hear for yourself.

The third one is a one-man black metal band from US, playing a mournful synthesis of raw, lo-fi black metal and evocative ambient drones. lyrics and mood are inspired by nature and the tragedy of its destruction.

The last one is polish reggae singer, member of Tisztelet Sound System.
