Death By Electro Giants were formed in 2006 in Newcastle upon Tyne and consist of Steven Ordinaire- vocals/keys/programming & Dan Thujone- backing vocals/guitars and Chris Deadlock - Bass guitar. They could be best described as ‘industrial metal’ though there are a lot of influences in their music that deny them such a rigid definition. Death By Electro Giants have also been described as being, ‘unique, not to be missed and refreshingly original.
’ They came 2nd in the Trillians 2007 battle of the bands, played at the opening night of Tech Noir- Newcastle’s premier industrial night and recently supported Australian industrial giants Angelspit on the Newcastle leg of their UK tour. They have also recently had their track ‘Fuck the Wreckage,’ remixed by several local artists and are hoping to take their sound to a larger more national audience in 2008. DEVOLUTION MAGAZINE FEB 2008 …and after an extended hiatus they’re back with a new member and even bigger bollocks.
