absolutely scathing lyrics, they get me every time. He puts it so eloquently though. Ben definitely chooses his words carefully but balances his emotion well enough to keep it from sounding too angsty like just about every other band who has attempted to write a song like this.

I first listened to this song at night, almost asleep, on my headphones and they were so closely tied to the things that I had talked about with my mother just few moments earlier, so I thought that these lyrics were simply made up by my sleepy mind, but the next day I searched the lyrics and - wow, they were really like that. It's definitely a very special song to me now.
