Best song on their best album... I can't believe that 12 years have passed...

gah its like the dawn of a new day or something. It's not a happy song (it's actually pretty angry), but it has a sense of optimism and enlightenment after an album of such angst and confusion. That's why I love this album so much, it feels like the narrator actually has some character development.

Hey Brendon983: "We'll leave our sins within the carpet twine. Our bodies will dissolve the chemicals in due time" means that only the room will hold any memory of what took place there with him and the girl. And the drugs they took will eventually leave their bodies. Its all about leaving the past behind. Its brilliant.

Um i think they need to change the description of Death Cab...Death Cab for Cutie is an American indie rock band formed in Bellingham, Washington in 1997. They haven't been "indie"for awhile now, as one band with 50 million listens on Last FM barely qualifies. I applaud everyone of them however.
