this is the most wholesome death cab album, by far. Its their best! Bend to Squares is a beautiful song to begin with. Champagne from a paper cup is haunting and thought provoking, "Am I drunk enough to drive you home now?". Line of Best fit ties it all together perfectly. I will never get tired of this album. I can't believe its not in their top albums.

1998 Something About Airplanes (( 5th )) --- 2000 We Have the Facts (( 6th )) 2001 The Photo Album (( 4th )) ----------------- 2003 Transatlanticism (( 1st )) 2005 Plans (( 2nd )) ------------------------------- 2008 Narrow Stairs (( 3rd )) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Transatlanticism, Plans, and Narrow Stairs are all great and tied for first in their own different ways IMO, but I had to place them. Not ranking *You Can Play These* because it seems like more of an album that they did just for fun, and doesn't match up with their other CD's. *Plans* is probably their most well known CD. Hopefully this helps you in narrowing down a CD to buy or download. The top three are a must and much higher in quality than the others. *We Have The Facts* is much worse than the others IMO.

Come on, this is obviously the best album. It's the only album that doesn't lose accountability after all these years; and the only album which most never get tired of. Plans was alright, and Narrow Stairs was almost in one ear, out the other. Something About Airplanes, however, never travels out of my current playlist. Thank you, Death Cab, for an astounding album. You need to make more like you did in '98.
