Founded in 1992,The Dear Abbeys is Boston University’s premier all-male a cappella group. Since its founding, the group has steadily gained attention in the Boston area for their energetic style of live performance, which blends musical precision with a light-hearted stage presence that, at times, can be downright goofy.

In addition to regularly performing in Boston, the Abbeys have traveled far and wide, singing in stadiums, on street corners, and everywhere in between. They have performed in Illinois to benefit Tourette’s syndrome research, sung our National Anthem at Boston Bruins and Red Sox games, and toured Hawaiian Islands. In 2005, they won the finals of the International Championship of Collegiate CA Cappella (ICCA) in New York City.
