Deadb3ar Music (Born Shaun Lawrence) to a single mother from Laos, Moved to the states at a young age. With nothing more to do in a small town near Clearwater, FL he picked up playing keyboard at age 7.
Fom there his love for making sounds went on and on. By the age of 13 he was using old tape players and a mic to record sounds from the everyday world. He would then take these sounds and mash them together
to form a beat, from there he started recording Guitar and playing live drums. Deadb3ar Music then evolved. From the point of just recording sounds and mashing them together he gained the attention of David Christian
who owned a studio in Tampa, FL. So Deadb3ar Music started working in a actual studio, which allowed him to create sounds he had never dreamed of. From there a artist was not born but formed. In December of 1997 he got his first offer from a Label. The label entitled “Star Sounds” started him on a simple 100 album release. This release never made it to the streets due to a conflict between Shaun and the Label. It did however
make its way to a few other Artist in the industry and Radio Stations. The artist started playing his music and DJs from around the world were promoting him in a way that he could never believe.
Shortly after all the issues he had with his prior label Shaun moved on and made a home in Orlando, FL. He was a resident DJ at “Club Liquid”. He was there top DJ, from there he decided to leave and move somewhere different. He then moved to St. Louis and started to resident at a club there called “Star Bar”. From there he gained a large following while he was under the name “Envy”. At this time Shaun was mostly producing Trance and some Breaks. That WMC was his best, he played 33 shows topping his year before and playing next to artist such as David Guetta (Prive), George Acosta (Niki Beach), Tiesto (Mansion), Ferry Corsten (Club Camio) and many others. He then left music again as he met a girl that blew him away.
