Biography
Reykjavik (2008 – present)
Dead Skeletons (Iceland) came into being in 2008 as an accompaniment to an installation for a show at the Reykjavik art museum by artist Jón Sæmundur (Dead). Looking for a spiritual battle hymn for the show, Jón began recording with Henrik Björnsson (Singapore Sling) and Ryan Van Kriedt (Asteriod #4). This initial song, Dead Mantra, became an underground hit, prompting the full length LP Dead Magick (A Records), released by the band in 2011.

There is a re-press of "Dead Magick" on black vinyl limited t 500 copies, get that shit. It's a sound investment, I assure all of you. The fact that they're really popular in the psychedelic community, and it's awesome music. The original pressings go for about 100 bucks, so get em while you can.

If you have any chance to visit Reykjavik, don't miss his atelier (address can be found on the web). I stumbled in there by hazard - even knew Dead Skeletons - and had the chance to take a photo with him, but couldn't remember his connection to the band. They were even practicing in the room next to the atelier.
