Formed in the Fall of 2005 , Dead Commuter started out with
Paul Maggard On Guitar/Vocals, Rafael Garcia On Drums, and Margaret Follmer on Bass. Culling from a number of influences, The band’s first efforts sounded like a variety of different genres, at one moment melodic as Latter-era Neurosis, the next being steeped in . Later down the road, Margaret left, with khaine temporarily replacing her. by the end of ‘06 Dead Commuter had decided to end the search for a bassist and remain a duo for good. The Band has come a long way since that first show opening for The Esoteric, becoming what each half of this duo has aspired: Loud, Bludgeoning .
