Biography

David Saw, a singer-songwriter has been writing music since he was a sixteen year old boy living in England. A few of his influences are Carly Simon, Cat Stevens, Ben Taylor, and Bob Dylan.

Saw released a solo UK debut titled, A Different Story, in 2003. His second album, “Broken Down Figure”, did exceptionally well. In its first week it made it to the top ten of folk albums on iTunes and his song “Simple Song” made it to the top ten folk songs. He was also the featured “indie spotlight artist” for the entire month of March 2008 on the online music store.

His success has allowed him the pleasure of touring with the likes of Ray Davies, Pattie Griffin and acoustic blues singer/songwriter Eric Bibb. In addition, he has played with Carly Simon, Ben Taylor, Robert Cray, etc. Saw has also performed at Glastonbury, the largest annual greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.
