    Babylon Zoo
    Love Lies Bleeding

    Bear Colony
    sharks
    We Came Here To Die

Instructions: Put your iPOD, mp3 player or whatever you use to play music on shuffle. Write down the song that comes up to answer each question. Do not skip songs, even if you repeat artists! After you name the song, write yes or no for the question that follows. See how many actually make sense!

This is my favourite song right now: Clarity
    Is this true? Not really.

This is my least favourite song right now: Control Myself
Is this true? Could be... I wonder why I have this on my computer.

I have no idea why this song is on my music player: To the End (Rnr Cheryl mix)
Is this true? Somewhat. I usually don't like remixes, but this one is fine.

This song makes me sad: Feel Good Inc.
Is this true? That's kinda hard, to feel sad listening to this song.

This song makes me mad: It Can't Come Quickly Enough
    Is this true? no.

This song makes me happy: Our Lady of Sorrows
    Is this true? no.

This song ALWAYS cheers me up: Mistaken
Is this true? no, not really.

  • David Gray 08/08/06 at the NAC - Ottawa, ON

Last night we went to see David Gray. I've been doing a countdown for over two weeks. I had to sell my tickets to his shows in Toronto last year (yes, both of them). We had great seats - front row, centre stage. Ticketmaster was kind to me for once!

The opener was Teresa Sokyrka - she placed 2nd in Canadian Idol a couple of years ago. She has an amazing voice and reminded me of Martina Sorbara and Jason Mraz (before the record label got to him!). She had a very powerful voice and excellent lyrics. I'd go see her again - she seemed a little nervous playing in front of the crowd. It didn't help that no one knew who she was... I had to check 4 websites before I found out who the opener was.

David came on with the band... and I was lucky enough to get his setlist after the show. By far one of the best shows I've seen in a long, long time. The passion and energy he had was amazing... the songs were great live. I also got to hear one of my all time favourites - Sail Away off White Ladder. …
