18 Feb 2009, 12:24 by maijayeI'm tired and bored, so I'll do this...
IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
*Opening Credits: That's Life - Frank Sinatra
- Well that's good for opening, but it would've been better for end...
*Waking Up: Papa Don't Preach - Madonna
- Why that song for Waking Up?! Weird :D
*First Day At School: So Fresh and So Clean - Outkast
- Hmm, nice ;)
*Secondary School: Pure Mua - Meiju Suvas
- This just makes me laugh... a lot.
*Falling In Love: Te Busque - Nelly Furtado
- No comments... cos my Spanish is kinda rusty...
*Fight Song: What It Feels Like for a Girl - Madonna
- Hahah :D I hope I'll win the fight! So what does it feel like for a girl...
*Breaking Up: Always Be My Baby - David Cook

Follow up to the magnificent Apologize this was a brilliant way to prove themselves as the real deal. This is a great mid-tempo rock ballad with of course a catchy hook. Well written with great melodies this was also another one to show of the great vocal range of Ryan Tedder. Appears in my library plays with Esmee Denters who with Ryan Tedder produced a beautiful live rendition.
9. Always Be My Baby- David Cook (Taken from the album American Idol)
Can this be classed as a single? Maybe not but since it was available digitally not on an album I think I could get away with it. I didn’t think very much of David Cook until it came to Mariah week on American Idol, a week where the rocker should be in danger of going home. With his arrangement Cook turned this into one of the best cover versions in years. …

19 Jun 2008, 02:27 by aizjanikaIt's always all about Alice in Chains for me. No matter what else I listen to, I always end up back with Alice in Chains.
I've had other bands and artists on my personal music radar lately, but then I heard David Cook a few weeks ago and that was it for me. I don't even want to listen to anything else most of the time. I'm sure Alice in Chains is waiting in the wings to take over again, but in the meantime, David Cook is it for me.
I am not a fan of American Idol. I've never even watched it, but I recorded the last episode of this season to see OneRepublic. I was blown away by David Cook.
I actually really enjoyed the finale show, though. I loved seeing Graham Nash and Bryan Adams (an artist I've recently rediscovered as I was never a big fan though I was aware of him, but in my old age I can appreciate him more), George Michael (I've never been a big fan, but he was amazing that night), and especially ZZ Top.
I started making a list of my favorite David Cook songs, but then I realized how stupid this is because…
