    As someone who decidedly does not believe in marriage or modern love, I find this piece to be very powerful. Magical even.

    @dardmommy: let's not indulge in idol worship, now. bowie certainly could be said to have kicked off glam, but he adopted electronic music styles from groups like kraftwerk and can. and while his music from the 60s and 70s does have an ageless quality i would dare anyone to listen to something like "let's dance" or "little wonder" and tell me it hasn't aged.

    Bowie superceded glam, electronica, everything he ever had a hand in starting; ergo, his work never ages.

    I can't believe it took me this long to realize how bad-ass the bass in this song is. How deaf am I? ^_^;

    The guitars are taken care of by Carlos Alomar & Ricky Gardener. Mick Ronson had long since left the fray.

    Ricky Gardener is the guitarist on Be My Wife with Carlos Alomar on rhythm guitar. Just saying like.
