David Allen Slater is a singer/songwriter and talented musician from Chattanooga, TN . His debut CD entitled Influenced was released on August 15, 2009.
David Allen Slater is a multi-talented singer/songwriter, composer and graphic artist who successfully released his self-produced debut CD, Influenced, on August 15, 2009. Gaining exposure for his music through the web, David was asked to participate in the Windows 7 collaboration with ReverbNation just 2 months after the release of his first album. His song, Run Away, was distributed through this collaboration on Playlist7 and branded with the Windows 7 logo. The song stayed ranked in the top ten for most of the time it was offered and early on was one of the top five songs given away free to help promote the new Windows 7 and up and coming musicians like himself.
David’s complete album was added in regular rotation to Signal Radio FM in 2010 where it gained an even wider audience of listeners from around the globe. Two of his songs, “Piece of Mind” and “Inside of Me”, both from his debut also began regular rotation on Acoustic Alternative Radio www.acousticalternative.com and were also offered on their compilation CD entitled “The Raw Side”. That same year his music became available on iTunes, AmazonMP3, emusic and Rhapsody as well as many other major online services over the rest of the year.
Continuing from the success of “Influenced”, David began writing songs for his next release, New Perspective, which is slated for release in the summer of 2011. He is currently putting the finishing touches on the new album and gearing up for shows to promote the album’s release.
